Perfectionism isn’t about striving for perfection just for the sake of it. Deep down, what we crave is acceptance—feeling valued, loved, and acknowledged. Trying to be perfect is just a way to chase these feelings.
I have been a hardcore perfectionist for as long as I can remember. I thought it was the only way to success, so I kept this tendency until the symptoms became too big to handle. Then, I realized that perfectionism was sabotaging my goals and that I had a better choice.
In this edition, I'll share my personal experience with perfectionism and how I've replaced self-blame and unworthiness with feeling better about myself, achieving more, and living a fearless life of authenticity.
